-I looked over at Josh and reminded myself that I get to be with this wonderful person forever

-I got puppy kisses from all my doggins when I let them outside this morning

-I played with our wedding registry and picked out loads of goodies

-One of my orchids started blooming

-The woods around our house are loaded with daffodils and flowering quince

-The scale says I've lost a few

DH got good news on his test on his lungs, made my day and relieved my mind THANK GOD !!!!!

Hi! It made me happy that ALL my 'Possum orphans are eating on their own.
It made me happy that I have all the homeless, obnoxious roosters corralled (except 2 that ran back out in the woods).
It made me happy that I got to spend a great part of the day digging-in-the-dirt.
...and fresh raw asparagus and radishes rinsed under the hose and eaten in the yard --- happy me.
edit! That's great news Cathy! I hope his progress continues.

I completed another day of work without tearing my hair out.

DH and I went out to supper - with no kids!

We then went and picked up 4 Wyandotte chicks, including one BLRW. Cute!

I decided that I'm calling off tomorrow for a "mental health day". I can't tell you the last time I called off sick, and I really think I need a good day off to spend out in the yard.

I came home and saw how healthy the chicks I already had are, and how content they look hanging around in their brooder.

Now I'm happy because I'm hanging out here on BYC for a little bit, but soon I'm going to go enjoy my comfy warm bed and watch my fav - The Waltons!

After making it through chem and business management class, I walked back to my apartment and realized what a beautiful day it is today. I wish I didn't have so much work to get done so I could enjoy it more, but the few minutes I spent walking back from class made me happy!

Got a completely unpredicted rain last night which means I don't have to irrigate this weekend.

Cleared out my front hedgerow, mowed the lawn, planted five azaleas, sat on my deck and had a cup of coffee. Sky is a crystal blue, temps around 75. Shortly I will go to pick up my truck that was serviced today, and then the Princess and I will go to Stewart's for dinner. Simple pleasures for a simple man.
