Just watched The Velveteen Rabbit & had no kleenex. I think the most touching part was when I noticed my 13 yo autistic son was crying as well.

I love all of his books...but then again, if you think about it, he always makes you come to love his characters, and then takes you to the end of their life...

I'm a huge Larry McMurtry fan, and have never watched any of the movies...not even Lonesome Dove. I'm too afraid the movies will disappoint me...
