What other ways are you different? Besides the chicken thing :)

I make a decent living selling stuff on ebay. I have Irish Setter show dogs and love to do the circuit.

I sit out with the chickens and can zone out for hours just watching them in the yard. When one lays an egg I tell her how wonderful and talented she is.

Once in a great while I crave peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. (don't knock it til you try it)

Hum, I am much like the original poster. Cloth diapering, babywearing, happy to SEND my kids to school, grow our own everything, and soon to buy a goat for milking...

Naw, goats are a piece of cake. If you start with young ones you can keep them pretty tame and those nanies - those bags get so full they are HAPPY to let you milk them...

Oh yeah and I BAKE too, which here is just not done especially since there's tons of bakeries around...

One of DS's friends came by and he was like what are you doing and I told him I was baking and he says, "My mom never does that".

I love peanut butter and pickle sandwiches too! Do you prefer dill or sweet? I like both. I have to say I have never added mayo, but now I think I will try it.

I eat Mayo with my scrambled eggs, which apparently grosses everyone else out,lol. Everyone I know anyways. Umm.... I have snakes, 6 of them and I love them with all of my heart. I also have a Bearded dragon whom I love to death. I was raised in a Christian household and listen to lots of Christian and Country music. I HATE rap, and have yet to hear a rap song that doesnt talk about drugs, guns or degrading women. I love to read, garden and draw. Reading and drawing is nothing, but a gardening teenage boy is pretty rare around here! But what am I saying...Im normal too.
