Whenever I can find some good green Alfalfa hay in the winter I feed some every day. I have never seen any ill eccect from this. There Are a number of things on that list that I have always fed & some that I eat myself that are reported to be toxic. Just because someone posted it on the internet doesn't make it true. Alfalfa is a very common & high quality livestock feed. Alfalfa sprots are pretty good on a sandwich too.
I have never heard of chickens eating any plant that was harmful to them. They have thouisands of years of instinct guiding them.
