what r u reading right now ?

Susannah's Garden by Debbie Macomber..To me it's a slow read and waaay to many details..I enjoyed the Blossom Street Series tho..I've also read Pushing Up Daisies by Rosemary Harris..It was a good book..Debbie

My favorite Pern books were the ones with the harpers: Dragon Drums, DragonSong etc. They are the books I turn to when I am stressed, they never cease to calm me down. Escapism at its best.
 
I just finished Alaska by Michener. It was great! Now I'm reading Ulysses by James Joyce. Not an easy read. I use a study guide, but I'm almost through it. It's on "the list" of 100 greatest novels of the 20th century. This one is through The Modern Library. I've read 67 of them over the years. Next I will read Tales of the South Pacific by Michener. The musical South Pacific was based on this book. Merry

I can't tell you how many times I have reread all her Pern books now son Todd is picking up where she has left off...We have 3 generations in my family who have read her books and are as hooked as I am...

didn't like Tales of the South Pacific as much as I liked Hawaii have reread that one at least 4 times I could not finish Poland though...but Michener was a great novelist
