I think I've about had it with rabbits! My doe that is pregnant got loose this morning. She's gone. Squeezed right out of the stupid door I've been wanting to fix on her hutch but I haven't had my husbands drill available. Finally got it today to start working on the door, went up there to measure and she was GONE! I could not believe she squeezed herself thru this 3 in gap in the side. If it was even 3in!

So we spotted her in the brush behind the hutches when we saw some weeds twirling around. I went in with a rake (the brush is up to my ribs) was able to get her out but thence stupid dachshund chased her around the yard and down into the woods in the front side of my yard. I went back in to try to find her but no luck. I'm just praying she stays away from our road, it's a 55mph road and tho its not too busy, it makes me nervous. So yet again I am so upset. We'll either never see her again or we'll have 7 bunnies hopping out of the woods if she even cares for them in the "wild"

I have a question since I found people with rabbits. I have a rabbit, she has escaped from her cage. Well I just left her on the yard, she is still tame and comes to us. She is very tame. But my question is how can I treat her for ticks?

A lot of people use Revolution flea and tick medicine. It's safe to use on rabbits, unlike other popular brands like Advantage.

I pulled some off of her the other day. I never had a loose rabbit but she sleeps in the barn and chase the chickens. I'm unsure what she is too.
