Well, what makes them an adult? I was told that they about a year old and that they have had two litters. The last litter were born last month. Really cute picture. Were did you get yours and is that an adult in the picture or a baby? Sorry if that's a silly question. It's all new to me.

Mine are about 3 months old.
I have 2, here's the other one.

My other 2 were born Jan 2013 & they are much bigger than these. Not as big as the NZW's, but like 2-3 times the size of the babies.

I'm not saying yours aren't a year old, they just looked so small to me compared to mine. As far as gender if they are a year old you can easily tell by looking at them. Babies it's harder to sex (at least for me since I'm pretty new to this).

Rabbits are juniors when they are 6 months old or younger, and seniors (or adults :) ) at 7+ months as far as I know :)

this is Joy my double main lion-head. she's gone now but she was my best looking bunny.

Is getting a Thrianta Bunny next month!

Congrats!!!, the first rabbit show I went to (NCRBA {North Carolina Rabbit Breeders Association} in Greensboro, NC) had the Thrianta nationals that day, they we're super cute.

Hey, does anyone get the ARBA Domestic Rabbits magazine?, in the 'You be the Judge' section, this issue's it as the Chamgpane d' Argent. Does photos B and D look the same to y'all?

I raise Beverens for meat. I don't like NZW, and I only want to raise heritage breeds. Plus, everyone and their mom raises NZW and I like to be different. Lol.
Our 2 does are NZ/Beveren. They are getting really large at 5 months. Their dad (Beveren) was huge. Mom (NZW) was pretty large as well. Both were white. The Beveren had blue eyes and the NZW had the red eyes. Our girls have different shades of agouti (I think that's what it's called). One has blue eyes and one has blue and brown eyes mixed together. Pretty weird and we love their uniqueness. What don't you like about the NZ and what do you love about the Beverens? I am trying to figure out what breed of buck I want to get. Am doing my research now. Won't be breeding until September due to their age and already soaring heat here.

DH is interested in the flemish giant. I am considering a NZW or red, also the american blue. I am open to your opinion on any breed. Mostly for our backyard homestead. If I can sell some for pets or breeders, that would be fine. Mostly just for our family.

What I love about my Beverens: they're a heritage breed listed on the albc watch list, they are dual purpose, awesome feed to meat ratio, awesome moms, great personalities and soooo pretty.
What I don't like: my doe Bonnie is psychotic when she's pregnant and Clyde, my buck, thinks that he should forever either be held by me or be in the cage with Bonnie.
