Mini Rex's go very fast to 4-h kids and dutches too. Dutches go for great pets but hard to raise in the show world unless you got good pair(s) with great back grounds. Very tricky markings. My Dutch is to solid his pants are to wavy, his socks are to big and his blaze is not long enough or pointed. Owell I breed and raise mini Rex's. might start with dutches soon but all depends on how well the mini Rex's do at fair. There is a realy good Dutch breeder( kids and adults manly kids) that show and get the Dutch trophy every year. Might get from them a buck and a doe from another breeder.

My new zealand white doe ''Sugar'' is due to have her litter Tuesday and I can't wait I bred her to my new zealand white buck ''Buck'' and they are my first rabbits ever so of course this will be my first litter of kits. I've read and watched a lot about kindling, rabbit raising, care, breeding, and almost everything about rabbits. I can't wait to see how many she has,and soon we will be making them a pen so they can get out of the hutch and live a natural, healthy, happy life and be able to romp around, run, hop, dig,be together, nibble grass, and live great natural lives.

This is ''Buck'' my buck!!

How exciting to be waiting for your first babies to arrive. I have 2 NZX does. I am considering what type of buck to get. How much does your buck weigh? My does are supposed to get to about 9 or 10 lbs, based on their parents sizes. Can't wait for pix of your babies.

@chicken farmer . How far are you from South-West VA?, there is a very reputable Netherland Dwarf breeder down here that I would probably be more than happy to sell you some {For a good price though XD} If you want anymore info, than PM me

hi bunnie people,
im gonna get a bunny soon and was wondering if i should get a female or male? cos you know with chooks you would probs want a hen not a rooster, and was wondering if its the same thing is with rabbits or if they are like dogs and cats and it really doesnt matter what sex it is! sorry if this doesnt make much sence!
thanks for any help!

some people have completely different opinions in this.. there are pros and cons to both but personally I like bucks better, I think they are more docile and I think they make better companions but at the same time say maybe you might not like them because they spray too much. I don't have as much experience as some other people on here (you'll come accross some breeders and i wish i knew as much as them) but the females are a bit too territorial for me and our personalities clash a bit too much XD I love my buck though and i think he's a total sweetheart. hope I helped!
