Here are for of the 8 new cages I built. I wanted the poop shoot and gutters to be to the side instead of front or back on these so they ate mounted a little higher to allow for for angle on the slides. But not too high since I'm vertically challenged. Time will tell if i regret putting the top row as high as I did. ;-)

Hi! I LOVE bunnies I have 3. I have a boy Holland Lop named Sunny, a girl Holland Lop named Emma, and a New Zealand girl named Isabelle. They are house bunnies, which means that they live inside my house with me. They are litterbox trained and are my sweeties!
this is our little miss Bunny, looking into our kitchen wanting more treats.....lol.... we rescued her from a very bad place, were they kept her in a 5 gallon bucket, but by the next day after we got her, she had 8 babies on my kitchen floor, my hubby ran to goodwill to get them a play pen so we could keep an eye on them in our kitchen ,i made a nest for them out of kitchen towels to keep them warm & happy , our miss bunny was only about 6 to 8 months old, but she did a great job, feeding her babies, i hand raised one tiny female for 8 weeks on goats milk , until she was strong enough to nurse with her litter mates,

we built them a run 4'x 12' on our covered back porch, so they had a plenty of room to run & play every day , most of them found good homes , we let them have the entire back porch & gave their run to our new wyandott chicks, who we also raised in the bunnies play pen in our kitchen ,
this is mama bunnie & the little female i hand fed for 8 weeks , both doing great , hanging out with the chicks......lol... on the back porch

I have had a busy past few weeks recently. First of all I learned that my doe probably cant have babies, I took her to a local fair and she won BOB out of Holland Lops. She is a very good Holland, but I'm pretty sure she cannot have babies. I asked a good experienced breeder and she told me to put them together for 30 days (I'm putting them together for 27 since they can have babies on day 28) and that will prove if she can or cant. So, right now at my house I have them together and a pet rabbit. I will be selling the buck I have cause he has terrible body and fur. If my doe cannot have babies then I will be selling her too.
Now, I will be buying a pair from Mary Justice sometime this week or next, and I will be given another doe from the breeder I got the other doe from. That is Narrow Gate Farm. I'll be getting that doe Friday. So I will be going from a 3 rabbit rabbitry to a 6 rabbit rabbitry. I have a 6 hole rabbitry so I will need an upgrade soon.
I'll also be attending the Dixie Classic Fair show in Winston-Salem, NC on Sunday, Oct. 5. It will be hosted by the Piedmont Triad Rabbit Fanciers. I'm excited for that show, hoping it will be bigger than some shows. Sorry, I just wanted to share everything that has happened or is going to happen.

OK, maybe showing my ignorance here, but in almost 30 years of breeding rabbits, I have never heard of "fox" as a color. I know about the Silver Fox breed, but that's nothing like this Lionhead?
