These are our newest and most colorful litter. Last one til February, we've now got 24 babies on our hands and we are first timers!

The only kit that doesn't show up good in the picture is the harlequin. Here it is.

Awww look at the lil cutie - Congrats on 24 little ones! such a wonderful time watching how fast they change as they grow

So a female marks their territory as well? I am used to cats, so I know males cats do this...didn't know a female would. I am guessing on the age as well. Could be younger then I suppose. Is there a way to tell?

Bucks will make their territory by a jump n squirt --- I also have a few that do this when they are startled/feel threatened as well.
Both genders will rub their chins on things to mark their scent.
Does when wanting to breed (if touched or even just sees the bucks will lay down hike up their hind legs a bit and stick that tooshy in the air & those scent glands help her out with drawing the buck in ----not that many of them need coaxing!!!!---

For telling how old it is - I would find a vet in the area that is experienced with rabbits - They will do an exam to make sure everything is okay - I would think they would be able to tell if she's been fixed already. I would imagine they would take a look at it's teeth/gums & such to determine an approx age -I know teeth always grow but just a gander.....

Cute but labour-intensive - when the mother loses interest that is. Maybe you've had this problem before?

Look at my profile avatar (left) for some cuties!

Thank you everyone for your help :) I have not brought her to a vet, She has been healthy so I haven't felt the need. After the holidays I probably will just to insure she is ok. We love her ..she shares the chicken coop with 4 silkies and 4 ducks in her own little condo lol, and gets to run around in the outside pen during some days and other days she gets to come in the house and visit the fur babies (2 cats an dog) whom all love her.

Yep. I've hand raised animals of all sorts. I don't work or anything like that, so it's no biggie for me. I enjoy the time, especially when they get older and forget who raised them. I imagine human mothers must feel like that sometimes.

A new video of one of our 4 day old kits. I thought he was big and strong enough to get a little camera time.

The four day olds are the cutest, it is the day you can take a deep breath and allow yourself to get a little attached. :)
