My club is hosting our county rabbit show tomorrow! I am not participating in showmanship though. Your form of showmanship seems more advanced... In NJ, we have three levels (beginner, novice, advanced) depending on how many years you have done this. We don't usually have professional judges either, they are either former 4-H members, or rabbit judges. We also have a strict dress code.

I'm going to a rabbit show on the 19th and hoping to buy a trio of Mini Rex.
I want to win rabbit showmanship so that requires knowing the advanced questions.
Every state, fair, and judge does showmanship differently, I want to be prepared.

Its always important to know your breeds standard. Good on you for studying! But be careful, some showman ships have a test that asks about other breeds too! I always ask my showmanship kids age and weights for their breeds sr buck and does. If I've got a senior tie, I will step it up and ask abot colors. But so many of the kids I judge just have Californians.

My club's 4-H show went well today! We had over 200 rabbits, a bunch of cavies, and some small animals. I did well and my Polish and my Fuzzy Lop won best of breed.
