What Rabbits Do You Have? Show Off Your Rabbits Here!

I don't know if anyone else knows about this, but I know of a spot where rabbits love to be pet! If you scratch right above their tail, they start licking themselves and will stay there as long as you do it. I just thought it was interesting, and I was wondering if anyone else had the same experience.

I heard that's how you test to see if they have mites. Maybe it's an old wives tale, but it was true with my Mini Lop when he had them. Supposedly it's because that's where mites like to live and, by scratching there, it feels really good to the infected rabbit, so they lick and scratch.

"Angora" isn't a breed; there are French Angoras, Giant Angora, etc.There is a breed that is basically a twin of the Holland Lop that has an Angora coat, called the American Fuzzy Lop. Maybe that's what papa bun is?

Well, my rabbits definitely don't have mites as I check regularly. Most of them do it and have done it since they were babies.

The person who gave me Daisy has not even replied when I told her she had her kits. She doesn't seem interested.

Guess that's what happens when you get something free.

I've just messaged her again.. and looked at her facebook pictures.

She has a picture of this rabbit, who is her baby. Could this be the father?

That rabbit, if it is purebred, would be an American Fuzzy Lop. I have one as well.
