I wanted a REW doe a couple of years ago. The breeder was going to give me a huge discount, but she was still $180 down from $260. I could afford half price at the time, but man was she beautiful.

On my second try with this doe she is due Thursday! Hoping she will have babies looks like she is attempting to make a nest! Fingers crossed!

Hello!! I am new to the bunny world! I just received this bundle of joy from a friend who works at a fee store. She said someone here breeds show rabbits and every year around Easter brings in a few breeds to sell. She said the rabbit was tattooed but it just looks like marker not a tattoo.
Could y'all help me on the breed, maybe help with how to sex, and if my daughter could show it in our county fair?!!

Looks to be a broken castor mini rex

I'm dealing with the same thing with my Holland Lop. This is the second time I've bred her and the first time wasn't successful. Today is 32 days for her and so far not looking so good. When I palpate her, she does feel plump and I can feel soft, oval masses. I'm not sure what to think about her.

"So I put a box in there Last week thinking maybe she'd start pulling fur/building a nest and she tore the box apart."
Mine rabbits don't usually start make a nest that early. Maybe it was just too soon. I've noticed that when I put the box in that early, it becomes a litter box. I hope everything works out for your girl. :fl

I have a question about diarrhea. A girl in my 4-H bought a bunny from a reputable breeder. The rabbit was fine, eating, drinking, good droppings. I interacted with the rabbit myself, everything seemed normal. Her mom emailed last night saying the bun had really bad diarrhea. This morning, she told us that the bunny died last night. Any ideas on what could have happened? They were very careful with the rabbit, not letting it eat any strange or get into anything bad. As for mine, my rabbits get diarrhea quite often, even when there's no changes in diet. They have clean water, lots of hay, and a good quality pellet. What can I do to calm their stomachs?
I have a holland doe who has diarehea all the time but she is perfectly healthy

Please don't breed your rabbits. I am against breeding rabbits. If you want more, there are thousands sitting in shelters, waiting for their forever home. If you do breed the rabbits, make sure you have enough space and housing for 4-10 more little bunnies. Soon you will have more rabbits than you know what to do with. And it can be quite a costly endeavor.
Actually breeding rabbits is a hobby to improve our breeds not multiply.. Although there are rabbit mills in this world most breeders are wanting to improve the quality of their animals
