14 weeks is pretty well on the way toward full grown, especially with small breeds. Unfortunately, the Lionhead became outrageously popular very fast, which means that there are tons of folks breeding "Lionheads" that have very little resemblance to the animals described by the breed standard. I have no idea what quality of animals this breeder is working with, so I don't know how big they are likely to be when full grown - and that would affect the size of the bunnies at all stages of their growth. Long hair can be deceptive, too - I've had people look at 3-pound Jersey Woolies and think they were "big rabbits."

I could believe that the rabbit in the picture was 14 weeks old, but it could be older. One of the cues to age on a young rabbit is the molting that replaces the baby coat with the junior coat; it starts at the nose and works its way back in a visible line. This starts at about 8 weeks of age. The fur on the face of the rabbit in the picture looks like it is all junior coat, so I'd say that rabbit isn't less than 12 weeks, but it doesn't look like a full-grown rabbit, either.

This is an example of what I mean about long hair being deceptive. This is an English Angora. Would you believe that the rabbit under all that hair only weighs 6 pounds? Most cats weigh more than that.

absolutely beautiful! I didn't get her the person wasn't very truthful she was a mix the dad lion head and mom a lops but she posted as a lion head it's a shame I would've gotten her if she said she was a mixed breed. I didn't want to take a chance of getting a unhealthy one.
