Hello,

Tomorrow is the big day...we are picking him up in the afternoon. I have read do many different things about bunnies and how to cage them. I think I am more confused than I was before:) We have a used cage(the one he is currently in at owners) that I am going to use for awhile until I figure out exactly what we want for a cage. Some people say a wire floor and others say no wire. So I am going to live with this one for awhile.

Do male bunnies really spray their pee? We plan on having him neutered. Will he still do it then? I had heard that males make better pets. Is that true too?

Hey, Munkey, I like that pen that you have your bunny in. Where did you get that?

Yes. Males spray pee, VERY often actually! Even some females flick pee. If he is neutered, he may not do it, but there is still a chance that he will spray a little. Males or females make good pets, but it depends on your personal preference. Males are calmer and less nippy sometimes, but are messier. Females are more hyper, can nip, but are A LOT cleaner! I prefer females myself, but enjoy my males. By the way, females are usually bigger than males. Neutering will also make him less likely to mount things. Good luck with him!

I have a question:
How come in the professional photos the bunnies heads are covered?
hmm.png
I just don't see why. DOes it hold them still or something?

Okay, we just downsized a TON, so here we go with the ones we have left-
Angel- (Albino Mini rex doe) She is super cute, and has a very good temper. She loves to have her belly rubbed. Has won best in fur in the MO state fair. :)
Hoppy- (broken brown mini rex) Just bred, and is skid dish. She was really freaked out when we bought her, but we keep holding her and she is getting better. :)
Floppy- (broken brown mini rex doe) Super nice, and sisters with Hoppy.
Buck- (black mini rex buck) No, we didn't name him

the peeps we bought him from did. I wasn't sure whether to include him or not bc he escaped last month, but is still hanging around. We believe he bred our doe, Angel when she was out in her day- range pen. But not sure. He is really shy, but once he is being held, he loves it!

(If you were wondering how we bred our doe, Hoppy, we bred her to our neighbors buck)

Their heads are covered to help pose them. However, you can pose without that, so I don't see why it's necessary. I see you're into Mini Rexes. I am not happy with mine. He is a an Opal buck, and he is the meanest rabbit ever. Are yours nice? Are they calm? Ive heard minis can be nippy and hyper.

Ive been keeping and breading Rabbits for the last 25 years

currently im only left with 2 Albinos

but i have had all and every breed available here

my favs have been teh Dutch, English Butterfly, silver, chilchilla, harliguin amongs others

recently i had a lion head which is a fairly new bread and he was a gem before the frost killed him a few months ago
