Thank you so much, that was very helpful. I'm working on compiling all the information I'm learning into a notebook. I want to start breeding rabbits more seriously. I'm especially interested in the lionhead breed, even though they are not yet recognized by the ARBA. Does anyone know where I could find a good breeder in northern California? I've looked in the ARBA directory amongst other places and could only find one okay breeder.

You can check specific breed club for breeders too. You can also go to shows locally and start taking notice of the better breeders in your area or state. I would search California Rabbit Breeders Associatioin.

That's a good idea. Luckily I found a breeder in my area. I now have 5 Lionheads, 3 does and 2 bucks.
