Ok. So my husband brought home these 4 black chicks a month ago and then a few days later he brought home 3 RIR. But he didn't ask the sex or the breed of any of them. Please help if you can .they are approximately 4-6 weeks old( I think) 15272125336481937072884.jpg 15272125336481937072884.jpg 15272127298761036354952.jpg 1527212801508819504673.jpg

X2 I think it may be an Asian Black. The other black and brown ones could either be Black Sex Links or Asian Blacks. It may be too early on the red, but that comb looks pretty pink.
1st picture, the one black chicken with the brown brest might be a rooster, I think I see comb development, it is hard to tell though.

If there are more roosters than hens will they kill each other?
No, most likely not. There is usually a dominant roo, and he is the one that breeds the hens. But there will be some fighting to see who is where in the pecking order. Sometimes ou will get a couple that will try to fight to the death, so you just keep an eye out. It is important to have around 10 hens to a rooster, or they will get over bred and scratched up. But if the top rooster keeps the others in line, there won't be a problem, so you will have to sit and see, and decide.
