Looks and sounds like a female... Benny has the curly tail feather that how I tell if they are males....He aslo has a very deep quack.

Birdgirl, that is a common misconception. However, male ducks do not get their drake feathers until they are at least 4 months old. This duck is only 7 weeks old, so if it were a drake (which it is not), it wouldn't have the drake feathers yet anyway.

I know that thank you...I was just letting her know for when it gets older...
