sure- lots of sushi places have quail eggs- they are considered a delicacy. Also, here in phoenix there are a lot of little boutique type restaurants that buy local fare from local farmers and feature it on their fancy schmancy menus LOL! I'm going to contact a few and see if any of the chefs are interested. My roommate is a chef and she's loving trying new recipes with the quail and the quail eggs. I'm hoping it will catch on
I live in N/E alabama. We have a local flea market here in collinsville, alabama called collinsville trade day. for the past couple of months i have been buying farm fresh eggs for $1.50 a dozen or 4 doz for $5.00 and have been putting them in the incubator and hatching them. I have been getting yellow buffs-barred rocks & black astrolorps from these eggs. There are other vendors that are getting $1.00 a dozen for farm fresh eggs. Mostly brown eggs! If you want some come on down and get some.
I just ordered cartons. The 10 pack size were cheap, so I will try and sell 10 packs. I figure I will start at $3 and see if anyone bites. I can always go down from there. Here is what I am getting... http://www.flemingoutdoors.com/clear-quail-egg-cartons.html

awesome! thanks for sharing! those look like the cartons that Shelley shipped me some hatching eggs in (thanks again Shelley- a beautiful packing job!) I've used those to make my own egg racks to put in the bator
so I should really buy some. Good luck with the egg selling!
They shipped today. Should get the carton in a couple of days.
For the bator I just used a cardboard carton and poked a hole in the bottom. The eggs aren't staying very upright, but I am turning them enough where I think they should be OK. We will find out on the 10th or so if I am right
I will definitely save some of the quail egg cartons for personal use!
For hatching quail eggs, I did an experiment in college and if you just lay them on their side in a turner, but so they don't roll, you'll get the same hatchability within 1-2% of if the big end were up. Don't worry about hatchability if you don't have them straight up and down.
I really wanted to find 1 doz cartons but I just missed the free shipping from eggcartons.com. I never feel they are charging a fair price when you consider the cost of shipping, so I have to wait until they have free shipping to get anything from them. Wish all of the plastic ones were from recycled material, my customers really appreciate that.
We hope to charge $2.50 or $3 at our farmer's market come May.
