What should I do with 50 vanilla beans!?!?!

    Take several and bury in a jar of granulated sugar. It will become fragrant over time and is wonderful in recipes! You just keep topping off you sugar as you deplete it. Also, you could use one to make these fantastic sweet potatoes for Christmas. It is from my blog!

    Really you can use it INSTEAD of vanilla extract in any recipe and it will be knock your socks off amazing. You can also share [​IMG]

    where may I ask, did you get 50 vanilla beans and was it for a good price and if so, please share your source if you can.

    Goldenluver~ how do you like the ones you get off of Ebay? Whos your seller if you dont mind, It is impossible to get fresh beans up here and I have always been leary of picking a seller and ending up with nasty beans that I spent a ton of $$ on
