What should I do?

Hello guys! I have these 16 baby chicks in my back yard. 12 of them are almost fully having white feathers. The other 4 are still growing. But I am worried about the 4 chicks. There is a cat that is always going into my backyard and I think it's been eating the baby chicks without me knowing. We originally had 28 until the cat ate 12 baby chicks. I was heart broken when it happened. I didn't know about it until I thought about the cat. What should I do? I already have chicken wires and a chicken tractor.

Maybe you could trap the cat, or put chicken wire around the chicks.

The cat will just jump the wire. Do you have a dog to scare the cat from entering your yard.

You could put the chicks in a pen, and put wire over the top of it.
