Okay I dont know what to do ..... I have a verry sweet 3-4 month silky roo...I somehow missed a big foot injury...He has a toe on his left foot that somehow got bent under his foot and he has been walking on it for some time before I noticed it....yes I feel VERY GUILTY FOR NOT SEEING IT... now he is starting to hobble . The vet says as long as bumble foot doesnt occur he should be alright.
well it seems that the padding is thicking up causing the hobbling and I dont see an infection settling in. I asked for a quote for surgury to remove the bad toe and it will cost around $240.00- $270.00 to remove the problem toe. Needless to say.. I am ready to tell
my hubby to forgo putting in bamboo flooring in the workshopp we are finishing - buy a cheap flooring instead and lets get his foot fixed. On the other hand he is just a roo and its alot of money to spend on a roo. What would you do????
