I have three hens and 6 pullets so I am thinking I should probably get a first aid kit prepared just in case anything happens. What do you guys put in your/what are the basics that should be in mine? They don't free range so hopefully I wont need much, but better to be safe, just in case. I am in North ID so the weather here is mild compared to some other places. The summer is in the 90s and the winter is in the mid 20s. Spring is crazy; raining, sunny, windy, you never know what's coming. Is there anything I should have in case of a dog attack? I have a dog who has killed 2 chickens because they got out of their run (run is secure now).
In case it affects what I should have, here are my breeds (no roos): ISA Brown(5yo), Buff Orpington(3yo), Ameraucana(2yo), Black Australorp(6wks), Lavender Orpington(6wks), Dark Brahma(6wks), Cuckoo Maran(6wks), Olive Egger(6wks), Blue Laced Gold Wyandotte(6wks).
