anything that rolls, for example.bikes wheel barrow. they will run in the coop when strangers come around..And the one that took so much time in building their coops and runs My DH.

Specifically? FedEx and Southwest Airlines. The other planes don't seem to bug them much but FedEx will cause them to all run for cover. Go figure.

What are my girls afraid of? Just about everything. Lol. They are quite the skittish bunch. But they scatter in terror if I move too fast, of if I throw something on the ground in anything but a leisurely manner. Silly girls...

My girls are terrified of a red laser. I use it for my cat and parrot so I decided to try and see if the girls would like it too. But they ran, squawked and raised so much commotion

My flock is scared of basketballs. One look at it and they go crazy and run for cover.

They are also scared of snow. There is no treat in the world that will get those birds out of the coop after a snowstorm. After they finally get brave enough to walk outside, they walk single file down the shoveled path. They absolutely refuse to step on the snow.

They are also scared of tape measures.

I guess I have some skittish birds.

Ahaha! This thread made me feel so much better. I was just reading about lover hens who hop up in people's lap (my 4 month olds don't do that!! but I didn't raise them from chicks.. only 12wks) and it made me insanely jealous because I think my flock is skittish. Mostly I think their leader is skittish and they're all followers heh.. maybe they will come around eventually? I heard that when they start laying sometimes they look to humans for comfort. I can only hope!! ^.^

My girls are afraid of.. wait for it... The Wind. Yep, wind starts blowing leaves of the tree they're under, everybody RUNFLYRUN!!! Quickly, to the.. OTHER TREE!!

Yea, my girls HATE any kind of ball. If it bounces, rolls, or flies in the air-- it's a scary thing to them!!!

Mine don't like snow either. They'll take a couple steps in it, but then will go back in the coop.

MINE TOO!! They HATE tape measures!!! I guess it's that crinkling noise...
