What size baggie?

What size baggie do I need for approx 12-week-old red broilers? Are 2 gal ziplocks big enough?

I can fit a 20 week old roo (not a broiler though) in a 1 gallon bag with giblets and feet, no head.

Hm, I can too. I was thinking the broilers would be bigger. My 20-week-old roo was a little scrawny. Maybe I'll have both sizes on hand just to be safe.

I wished I had 2 gal the night we froze ours. Get both just in case!

It never hurts to be prepared and you can always use the extra bags for something else! For sure get both, better safe than sorry and if you are like me a last minute "trip to the store" drives you nuts then both sizes on hand wouldn't hurt a thing
