What size coop do I need

Chicken wire is good for fencing off your garden and that's about it (mine have NOT yet chewed through it!) If you can afford it chain-link is about as sturdy you can get, though it needs to be reinforced with hardware cloth or welded wire against smaller predators, because the holes are so large (and you can use the same reinforcing material for an apron or a buried barricade). Or you can look into electric fencing.

I would not put wire of any sort as flooring for the coop. As a general rule wire floors don't work well for animals and end up causing foot injuries.

Yep, I'm in the PNW to. My run has a roof.... but I didn't realize the wind would soak the outer portions. No standing water, but mud. Working to make it not slippery... too much traffic isn't helping.

I would avoid the metal sheds at all cost! No matter how much ventilation you try to add, the building will sweat on the inside... Ask me how I know.
