What size flock do you have?

This has all changed…
I just got two more hens, bringing the total to nineteen. I must be officially insane.

Anyway, the main flock lives in the old duck pen as the runs got taken over by cats.

The new hens with the lowest ranking bird from the main flock live in the third run. They will eventually be joined by a rooster who is in my prefab right now.

I converted an old shed into a chicken coop to house my aggressive boy, his two girls, and the free ranging hens (the Virtures, formerly the Chickies if you see my above post).

Jen’s eggs turned out both to be roosters.

My system is really hard to understand unless you see pictures. Maybe I’ll do a coop article one of these days…

How can you possibly forget you had geese?! They are the loudest, messiest, no-good-for-nothing birds ever known to mankind (at least mine were!)...

35 birds.

All sharing the same space.

But technically, a flock of:
3 turkeys
12 ducks
20 chickens

Plus goats (that reminds me, need to update my sig) and bunnies.

I have a total of 50. 11 pet runner ducks and 39 Heavyweight African Dewlap geese. Hmm Math is 2 and 6 I think. Feed bill $400 month, Dang thous 8 birds sure eat allot.......
