What size leg bands?

Ok, so what size leg bands would i need for a bantam? also ive got some rirs, sex links, and silver laced wayondotte. Also what about for the chicks? .... both bantam and regular?

Showing my ignorance here.... what is the purpose of leg bands?
 
i want to know which chickens are which breed....the obvious part, but mostly how old they are and which ones which
 
You can identify if you have the same breed but they came from different breeders....for your breeding program.

yes and theres that.....a whole bunch of little reasons really that will save me much confusion in the long run
 
Be cautious with zip ties. I have had many injuries and several losses with birds getting them caught on something.

Personally I would recommend bandettes. Better to lose a band than a good bird.
