I tried the tomato and they loved it!

I gave my girls a mixture of cooked rice, scrambled eggs, diced tomatoes and mixed veggies. I also gave them a container of left over coleslaw. After they ate that, they had over ripe cherries for desert.

I too, was the most popular around the coop!

I mixed a huge bowl of oatmeal, cat food, alfalfa pellets, beet pulp and a little bit of sweet feed. Soaked it with lots of water and tossed it out to them last night...they weren't that interested as it was close to bedtime, but were rocking on the leftovers this morning.

Next step is to make the same but with some gamebird starter, scratch and BOSS added in. Meal of champions..........

Mine got a blossom-end-rotted watermelon, an over-ripe ear of corn, and their first ever layer mash pellets. This morning they got sub-par Armenian cucumbers.

Mine got roasted tomato trimmings, vegetable amaranth leaves, a cherry tomato (seems like a find a split one every day), wheat and BOSS.

mine got cucumber peels, ricotta cheese mixed w/ hamburg and egg(left over from making stuffed shells) and some cooked jumbo shells.....
