What Special Treat or Yummy Did Your Flock Get Today?

The GIRLS had sweet white corn on the cob,bagles and a whole mini watermelon! YUMMY They just come a running when mommy has treats!

Mixed fruit that's been in the freezer too long. My crew is spoiled; they start making noise and checking me out every time I go outside because they're used to me bringing some goodie or other. They're adorable!

I made baked custard last night, so the girls had scrambled egg whites (left over from the extra custard yolks), mixed with tomato bits, and a little leftover yogurt. oh...and a side of cantaloupe halves. They are in their first molt- so I am giving them extra protein whenever I can.
Yes- they are VERY spoiled

they got the leftover sweet corn and my cochin found a really yummy treat, or at least she was very interested in it. Before I could take it away she ate a luna moth caterpillar, eeew! I was hoping it would not make her sick, but she is fine.

Cold peaches and BOSS. It was their first time having peaches, i think they liked it almost as well as watermelon.

Today's treat was plain yogurt mixed with oatmeal (not cooked) and flax seed. Those were some happy chickens!
