Ok big nasty warm red thing on base of roos tail. I mushed at the base of it and bood and dark yellow liquid came out. Is it a ingrown feather or this oil gland I keep reading about?

You need to get a better picture. that ones all fuzzy cant see a thing but brown. :\\

nevermind lol it was my comp. It looks like the oil gland but it shouldn't be all bloody.

Yes, that is the oil gland. It should be the same as the skin color. I would clean it up and keep an eye on it to make sure there is no infection.
