What the heck is making that sound??!?!?

Ok I have been trying to figure out what makes this sound(video posted below). This might be a dumb question, but its driving me nuts not knowing! I'm pretty sure it is in the trees, and it is in a different spot every night. I was thinking an owl but I couldn't find one that made the sound.
I live in North Florida.
And who better to ask them my amazing people here!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a bird, but have no idea which. Can you get a strong flashlight and seek the source of sound. By strong, I mean a T6 zoom focus LED or stronger.

Look up a bird called a Chuck-Will's-Widow, Caprimulgus carolinensis, and see if that sounds right to you. A kind of nightjar, and absurdly cute.

With the amount of flashlights in the house (some dim, some really bright(Dive lights) and some just like pictured) we could probably supply a town with light!!

Yea very true!! We have 40 acres so the animals are everywhere!! And 2 lakes!

I like most snakes, the hubby shoots them on site no questions asked! (He thinks I'm crazy, if I know they are poisonous I grab em!) That and we have 2 little ones so gotta keep them safe! ​
