Francis the chicken has been moving her tail a little weird
Noticed some feather separation so I looked in and it’s a hard lump thing
Anyone know what it is?? How to treat it??

If it’s right above her butt It’s her oil gland

It’s hard to reference in the close ups.
But when you see a chicken rubbing in that general area with their beak, then rubbing/nibbling /preening their feathers that’s whats up!
