Yeah, I'll probably postpone the trip till the end of the week if I have to. I don't really want to go on a weekend or the last day, but I definitely want to get to the farm show! I haven't missed one in eight years!

PBR was a lot of fun. I went last year with a friend and Gary Allan was there! So cool!

The year we moved to ND there was a storm that was supposed to give us 2 to 4 inches. When it was done, we had 24 inches.

Chicken Chick, I hope all goes well with your son! Mine is 20 and I worry. And I am sure that my mother still worries about me

My son is 44, my daughter is 42, and still I worry. Yes, Sourland is a huge PBR fan. This snow may be the least of our worries. Last night the Philly weatherman alluded to an Arctic front with colder weather than we have had in 2 or 3 years. Purportedly to hit the middle of the month with daytime temps not getting out of the teens. My old hands hurt already.

For the last two years our weather has been extremes.

Very hot dry summers and very cold snowy winters. I can remember my Dad talking about the snow coming to his waist lots of times in the mtns of NC. But this has not happened for a long time. These last two winters its snow snow and more snow. We have one storm winding down today and another worse one coming Mon. We,ve been lucky to only get a foot of snow on one and a few inches this last one.
All this has me planning a new winter coop closer to my home and on the same level. I have to go down so many steps ,about 30 ,to get to my coop now that it is dangerous for sure. I am thinking winter coop and spring chicks there. Then move them all down below for the summer, clean up and no odor close the house. Its not the coops but the runs that get odorous. Humm, I'll have to start saving and looking for supplies. Everyone stay safe. Is there a shivering smiley? Next week we are getting a nite below 0. Gloria Jean
