You are a wonderful chicken Mama, Keltara. Hormones can do weird things with all "us girls". Maybe she has Pre-eggstrial Syndrome. It sounds like she will be her sweet self soon.

I just read your BYC page. I know it's been a while since Speckles left you. What you wrote about her was so touching. I just wanted to say that I hope you got a new hen at some point. If you didn't, I think that there is a hen or two out there just waiting for a special couple like you and your husband to take them in. You really are such a loving chicken mama, and if you aren't already, you need to be again. I hope all is well with your husband as well. ❤ℒ☮Ṽℰ❤
