[IMG] I just got an email from Ideal and it said that my order will be shipped on May 15!!!! On the breeds they showed the avalible hatch dates and all the breeds I selected were available on the hatchdate of the 18 of March. What Happened?!

They'll be laying by October, it should be relitivly(sp?) warm by then. I guess.

I hate how Ideal does that, they need to update there availability more often, it seems like they rarely do.

Well, it's too late now, well, its not, but Ideal is cheeper and has a better selection then let's say MMM, and last time I ordered from MMM my mystery chick was handicaped. But I can wait. Thanks for the hugs.

that happens because as the day goes on, and people order from phone, mail and internet, they cant "keep up" with the orders,, so say the internet shows tomorrow afternoon when you go to order that theres BO's available for next week,,, well the phone orders havent been put in yet, or the mail orders, and by that morning they were actually out,,, it wont show up till they refresh their inventory at the end of the day.
its best to either call or email before you order, and ask them if they still have the bo'S for next week.
i can give you the email addy of the person i always deal with,, she's the BEST [IMG] if you want it for the next time.

Have you ever considered making a home-made icubator and buying the fertile eggs for whatever brred you want? there are plans for the basic build . cheap and easy. I am going to make one to hatch some thirty eggs. was even considering hatching quail eggs to re-populate my neighborhood...I think our quail may have been eaten by prowling cats. I live in an area 1.5 miles from downtown Las Vegas. we have lots of area for wild quail to exist. It might be fun. also...you can buy incubators on Ebay for 49 to 59 bucks. Good luck.
