What to do? Budget cuts = hours reduction??

we have had good luck by rounding up things that we weren't using but that are in good condition and selling them on craigslist.

I have also placed an ad as a handyman on craigslist and have gotten a lot of responses.

the key, I think, is to get creative. Good luck.

OOh yeah! Put an ad on craigslist, you can draw awesome! Do personal drawings of peoples horses, etc...I bet you'd get replys!

I had to go through this at the county where I work. Our dept decided to go with furlough days, taken whenever we want. Since we get paid every other week, there are 2 months per year where we get 3 paychecks. I'm taking my furlough days during those extra pay weeks, so it doesn't hurt quite so much. If you end up with 2 of those extra paycheck months, put that extra check in savings and dole it out over the months to lessen the impact....(July was our 3 check month)
