Donrae,I would isolate the hen to be sure she's not laying. You may be expecting green eggs and she's laying cream, something like that. Just to rule out anything before you let go of a possibly good hen.
Do your birds free range? Could she be hiding a nest somewhere?
Could you post a pic of her, especially her comb? Is her comb nice a red and plump, like she should be laying?
