There is also a site called bestfarmbuys.com you can post a free ad there as well. I used that site to rehome my BR packing peanuts, A lady came and took them all
I'm located inbetween Farmersville and Greenville. If you don't know where that's at then I'm about 70 miles east of Dallas. I can't remember how long it takes us to get to Ft. Worth. We don't go that way very often!!
Quote: SOMETHING IS WRONG THERE!!!! Craig's List does NOT ask for phone verification, unless it's changed since yesterday!!! You are most likely getiing a bogus email, trying to get you to give info, or someone is trying to "redirect" your info. Are you listing under a city? If you are listing from a small town, you need to list from the nearest city and put you location in the title bar when you list. PM me if you keep having trouble. I have listed there for years and you should not be getting a message like that. Craig's List is famous for scams.
She probably ordered about 11 or so, they add packing penuts to fill large hatchery boxes (total of 25)
Yep..I ordered 11. I knew they would send extras, I just didn't expect this many lol. Be prepared for a total of 25 chicks to come in your order. I think it depends on the weather and all, but just in case be ready lol. I had room for them for the first couple days, but they are rapidly outgrowing my brooder.

The deal with the phone authentication is this. I went to post my ad. It said that I needed to be signed in to post an ad in farm and garden. So I signed in. Then the craigslist site itself said I needed to do a phone authentication (or some such word). I finally figured out how to get it to work and put in my number, got a call with a code, entered the code and all is well. My ad is now posted. I asked for $10 at first, then felt bad since I got them free (well kinda. I did pay $12 over and above my other chicks for "box" fees) lol. So I changed it to free. Now lets just see if someone responds.
they have made a lot fo changes on craisglist trying to defeat spammers. i just checked and now on mine, even the free needs an account. if peole are in an area where spam is not a big problem, then the changes might not have come to your area yet. ours went from no account needed ever to sometimes to now i htink for everything.
