What to do with this foot?

Her foot is looking much better! I've never dealt with anything like this but I think you're doing a wonderful job! I would think the bleeding is a good thing, if her toes are bleeding it means they're alive!

I hope you can start full-time care of the hens for everyones, including us BYC-ers, sake.

I don't see anything at this point that screams bumblefoot. I would just keep doing what you are doing and continue to reassess as she heals. There are probably sore/raw areas that may just heal up with time and care. She looks SO much better already! Awesome job!

Agrees. It's gonna take weeks for her to get fully to her new 'normal'.
Her feet will probably never be 'right', let's just hope she can ambulate enough to feed comfortably.

So yesterday the chicken and I both took a break from her pedicures, and today she was walking a bit! I’m thinking we might move to every other day for a while... seeing as I’m going to be in town for three days the first week of January to deal with some legal issues for my Sister in Law.

Here is pre soaking:

I managed to gently remove the largest lump, and the dead scales from the middle toe:

Her bad foot (which lost the chunks!) is pics 1&3, her good foot in pic 2 had a little bleeding around the where toes and nails meet... so now we are both pretty purple again... I love my blu kote but it makes seeing everything a bit more challenging!
