What to Feed a Chicken Who Won't Eat???

I have a bit to say about what little i've read about in these three pages. Maybe I'll get back to others but generally, scrambled eggs are always a good choice. Poultry Nutri-Drench can't be beat for an animal that needs a quick fix of essentials. I read something about treating for mites with DE. That is an extreme slow walk to nowhere. Perhaps a preventive measure but not really a treatment. When one observes a mite or any other infestation, it is time to bring out the big guns and put the problem in the rearview mirror.
As for as cocci goes. That is a misnomer often used in this forum. The protozoa referenced is coccidia. Cocci is any spherical bacterium, not what causes coccidiosis.
A mature bird living on the same soil for any length of time has long become resistant to the species of coccidia present on that property so treatment should be unnecessary in 99% of cases.

How old is she, it could be a reproductive issue. Chickens whos egg laying years are over will starve themselves. I think I would consider having her put out of her misery. Reproductive issues cannot be fixed.
I've had chickens 11 and 12 years old. They never starved themselves. My current oldest is 8 or 9, and healthy as can be. She appears happy and is the boss of the flock.
