What to feed after 8 weeks?

Hello everyone! This is my first go at raising chickens, and boy have I learned a lot. My chicks are eight weeks old now, and are being raised for eggs. I have a few questions regarding their feed. The back of their medicated chick starter says it should be fed from 0-8 weeks. So now what do I feed them? Grower/Finisher? Do I have to wean them off of their chick starter? Or can I do it all at once?

Also, eventually I'm going to have to feed them some sort of layer ration once they begin to lay. I think I might have a rooster though, so do I have to feed him something different? Or can he eat the layer rations too?

No need to. Just mix the last bit of the bag with the new feed until it's gone.
