What to feed chickens during Pesach (Passover)

Yup, I'm a bit late on the train, for anyone looking for tips, but this year I'm trying a mix off cracked corn and fishmeal for an 18.8% feed. I'll try to post an update on how it goes!

Easiest thing to feed chickens on Pesach is kitniot, such as cooked rice, quinoa, corn, beans (although you have to get KLP kitniot, generally available for sefardim). We also gave them zucchini and romaine lettuce. We saw no change in egg production.

Worked great this year. Egg production even went up over Pesach. I also included a bit of kelp meal in the feed. They did also receive treats of dried peas, sunflower seeds, and as much food scrap as we had available.
