what to feed hen after crop surgery

we have a 3 y.o. Isa Brown. We found her in the nestbox last Thursday. When we reomoved her we noticed she was quite thin. We brought her inside to monitor. We noticed her crop was about walnut sized and like puddy in texture. We tried withhoulding food food but the crop did not reduce. Her pooh was watery. After several days of feeding her lightly We noticed she continued to lose weight. We performed crom surgery last night...somethng we have done successfully in the past. This \\\\\\ Today she is perky, but still weak and. We are wondering what to feed her now to help build her strength, and help her heel.

BTw, the crop was full of straw, something we have found in three other hens. We are wondering what might be suggested as for nesting box material.
