What to feed my baby ducklings as a treat?

apparently ours doesn't (we have one in each town around us) ha ha I ask and they look at me like i'm crazy or somethin. C

don't feel stupid....

My chickens and ducks eat gamebird feed and also get scratch.....

I have to admit....it's funny to watch the ducks try to get the scratch when it's well spread out!...DH puts in in piles and they just dig in and scoop it up!

I just liked the gamebird nutrient breakdown better.

don't laugh but my ducks love cat food too. I used to throw it to the catfish and they would gobble it down. They didn't like the dogfood.

I have two,one week old ducklying and every morning I come home from working ten hour, clean there home, which at this time is a 100 gallon fish tank. I go out side cut fresh grass for there beding, dig for worns, change the dirty pads and dead grass from there home and give from of course give plenty of fresh water and food. I've just started putting them in the tub, with some water for some extra fun and a safe place to play while I clean there home. Just want to make I'm taking care of the properly. Any other suggestions would be helpful!

steamed or boiled & mashed potatoes was my ducklings favorite non-green veggie treat. They still love them as almost-adults.

Napa cabbage (leaves only no stems) finely chopped in a bowl of water was their favorite green veggie treat. They used to do what we called the cabbage stampede when i filled their dabbling dish with it. Still love cabbage, too.

You can steam and chop stems of cabbage, chard, etc.

My girls also enjoyed chasing live baby crickets I purchased from the pet store & gobbling live (or dried) mealworms. So funny watching them chasing the crickets as wee ones.
