What to put in dust bath??

I think it depends on your dirt. I’m in Georgia so my dirt is red clay. It compacts into a concrete consistency so I generally need to add sand and such to get a better dust bath.

True Dat.... tho clay and sand can make 'concrete' too.
Am lucky that my soil is pretty sandy here.

We are planning on using a mix of dirt, sand, DE (which I now see people are recommending against) and wood ashes in our dirt baths.
