I am lucky enough to be friends with the produce manager at my local supermarket and she keeps me a bag full of greens and assorted fruit for the kids every day.

Mine will get the stalk and leaves from a cauliflower plus the trimmings from some beef I cut up yesterday for stew. Plus the usual BOSS, and scratch at dusk.

Hello!! I just joined today as I am looking at getting some chickens!! I had no clue where to start till I found this sight!! What I would like to ask you is.. does your dog bother your chickens?
I have a 18 month old Shepard myself and was wondering.

Our girls get corn every time after they've been out of the pen. Melody our Austrilorp LOVES her corn! She even sings a little song, we call it her corn song!

We had our Christmas dinner Sunday since I have to work Monday and Tues, so my girls and boys got all that was left on the plates. Ham, turkey, sweet potatoes,corn pudding,dressing and peas/corn mix. There was nothing left after 10 minutes

if its a big dog and has never seen chickens, he will probably bother them. However, if you make your baby chicks and you're dog interact often, while they are growing up, they will probably get along very well
