What treat did your chickies get today?

Today mine had slightly wilted lettuce, some left over cold couscous and diced up cucumber and zucchini from the garden. It's their first time with those veggies and they normally wont chow down until I'm back in the house so I'll go out in a bit and see if they made a dent in anything.

So far mine had some scratch, squash and when they are done free ranging in the yard I'm prob gonna give them some tomato and scrambled eggs.

This morning they got l/o brown rice & veges. and I just gave them a whole bunch of crickets. My.....how you can get a chicken to do just about anything for just some crickets!

My 8 year old daughter has been raising mealworms fr my ladies and today was the first time she gt to harvest them!! They( and her) loved it!!

Cold watermelon and tomatoes, and lots and lots of ice water.

today they had their 2 favorites, freeze dried meal worms and corn on the cob

Meal and wax worms, Piled up a huge pile of fresh grass clippings and made them dig through it all for the grubs. They love that and it's funny to watch.

Meal worms mixed in plan yogurt, first time and they went crazy for it!!!
