What treat did your chickies get today?

Well every morning they get cracked corn. They didn't like the scratch mixes they sell.

Then of course, now that the garden is finished they get the old produce that is just past its prime. They love that. Then every few days they get their own egg shells back to eat.

Last night, they got canned tuna left over from the FatCat's 10th birthday celebration.
Today, oats and fresh, soft grass and dandelion leaves.
Tomorrow, the last of the yucky store-bought eggs, scrambled. Which makes them do this:

This morning, the chickens got papayas, bananas and BOSS. In the afternoon, they got all the left over rice from the night before. Right before returning to their henhouse for their evening feed and lock down, I fried them up a treat of fresh salmon and fresh ahi. This bowl of fish was finished in seconds flat!

I gave mine some BOSS as well. Last night I should have used the egg/spinach leftovers but forgot and left them out all night! Now I put that mixture into the compost bin.

Mine got yogurt, spagetti, basil, spinach, hummous and their nightly treat of BOSS. They were HAPPY chickens!
