BOSS- both runs (covered & uncovered) loaded with snow, temp in teens.

Yesterday they all got warm Oatmeal mixed with sliced hard boiled eggs (Duck eggs in the fridge in the garage FROZE and Cracked) and some mooshy cat food because when we woke up it was -6°F.. Brrrrr...

LOL I usually hang the apple, but they haven't had one in a couple of days. I set the bowl down to put the kale in a suet basket, and my stinking

cockerel Charlie grabbed the apple and ran with it! He was trying to woo those girls with his tasty treat! I let him have it until I got done and then hung it. He was just purring to the girls, he cracks me up.

BOSS, brocolli sprouts, dried meal worms, and scratch.

The girls ate well last night: Scratch, Sunflower seeds, egg shells, scraps, clabber, and moistened dog food. Egg production is already going up, an extra half hour of daylight really makes a difference.
